Anthony Davis
From the way Anthony Davis has been playing, he's far from a sleeper pick. The stats he’s been putting up have been absurd. He has found his stride and is playing phenomenal basketball. He’s playing both ends of the floor. He’s scoring, defending and communicating. He’s doing everything he possibly can do, to help the Lakers win.
Over the last two games he’s averaging 50 points, 13.5 rebounds, and 2.5 assists. They are astronomical numbers.Currently, the Lakers are 10-12. They are almost .500, which is impressive after the poor start they got off to. Anthony Davis has been the ultimate catalyst for this. If you’re playing in a daily fantasy league, add him. He provides value in nearly every category available.
Steven Adams
Steven Adams is a steady player. He provides value in the consistency he provides from game to game. Currently he is averaging nearly 8 points, 11 rebounds, and 2 assists. He’s doing it with great efficiency.
He doesn’t play heavy minutes on a nightly basis. The Grizzlies sometimes play small ball, so there are games when his minutes are limited. He will not bring more value than what he is currently providing. The upside is limited for him, but he will get a double every night. If you’re in need of rebounding on your team, Steven Adams is a player worth adding. He’s a low risk addition that does his job every game.
Tim Hardway Jr
Tim Hardway Jr has seemed to have found his stride as of lately. He’s a knock down shooter who can score in bunches. After being inserted into the starting lineup, Tim has been playing a lot better. He’s shooting with more efficiency and has been playing with more confidence.
The main issue with Tim Hardway is he’s a streaky shooter. When he’s hot, he's hot, but when he’s cold, he’s cold. The issue with that is he’s not a player that really impacts other categories. Most of his contribution is made through scoring.
During the last few games he has found his shooting stroke. Over the last three games he’s averaged 25 points on over 50% from the field. There’s no telling if he can continue to shoot this well from the field, but he’s worth the add considering his recent performances.
Colin Sexton
Colin Sexton has had an interesting season thus far. He has started, come off the bench and there’s even some games where he’s played very limited minutes. It’s a large adjustment from his role a few seasons ago.
During this season he’s averaging 14 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 3 assists. He’s improved that stat line over the last few games with increased minutes. Over the last three he’s averaging nearly 20 points, 3 rebounds and 4 assists. He’s been doing this with great efficiency. He’s shooting over 50 percent from the field. A large part of his improvement has come from seeing more minutes because Conley is out with an injury.
Colin is worth adding this week. He’s playing well and is capable of big games. There’s a lot of upside with adding Colin. He doesn't get the minutes every game to produce like he currently is, but there’s no telling what the Jazz wil do with Mike Conley. For now, Colin is a good pick up for any team.
Jamal Murray
Jamal Murray is worth adding this week and weeks to come. He got off to a rough start this year. He was working his way back in the early part of the year from an ACL tear. He now seems to have found his way. He is currently averaging 18 points, 4 rebounds, and 5 assists. He is shooting nearly 45% from the field. The Nuggets will likely ramp up his minutes at some point this season. There’s no doubt that his statline will improve with increased minutes.
Jamal is impactful in a number of categories. He’s a streaky shooter, so his percentages will vary from game to game. Jamal is worth adding considering his current stat line and the upside he has as his minutes increase.
